Update on the Farmhouse.....kitchen coming together.

Well......were moving right along! Today was a normal day for me! Hubby went to work.....I woke up (lets just say at a decent time) and enjoyed a cup of coffee and a slice of tres leches cake for breakfast. The cake was from my mother in laws birthday.

I cooked my daughter her breakfast that she asked for and of course she decided she was not hungry. (about two hours later she tells me she is hungry). So....I want to show you Mr. Wilbur. As soon as he heard me open the rv door he came running to me and started oinking like crazy! He was muddy! He had made a mud hole from my mother in laws ac drip pipe. November can not get here fast enough! I estimate a crater size hole before its time for Wilbur to relocate. I am so sorry for Wilbur's' mud hole.....but a pig has to cool off. Right? I have not herd from my mother in law about the mud hole yet and I am not going to say ANYTHING!

We got homeschool out of the way and then my husband called at 1pm to get dressed to go see the progress on the farmhouse. My husband decided to text me that he was coming in the semi to pick us up and to be ready! That is exactly what he did!

So I want to get into the pictures of the kitchen...............because there are no words to describe how the kitchen is coming out! Keep in mind these cabinets were custom made to my hubby and I request.

Have to take pictures of our home in the moment.....with the change happening.

This second picture of our kitchen is showing the cooking kitchen. This kitchen is set up for strictly cooking....NO BAKING. We live in the country and the store is not right down the street. I designed my kitchen to have lots of storage and to not be on top of each other having to cook and bake. The bottom cabinets are black inside because they are open.....no doors. I have Pioneer Woman everything and I wanted to have those colors to be able to be seen and not covered up by doors. Where my daughter is standing behind her that is the coffee bar. I wanted to make sure there was a coffee bar that looks like it was made to be a part of the kitchen. You can see there are no upper cabinets. I did not want any upper cabinets at all in both kitchens. Like I said before I have Pioneer woman everything and I want it all out in the open.

Now we are looking at the baking kitchen. This kitchen is not done yet. There are more cabinets that need to be put in. The baking kitchen will have double ovens and as you can see they will be on the right hand side.

This is the baking kitchen coming to life. The upper shelves take a turn toward the window. The bottom cabinets in the baking kitchen are also all open. I mean this kitchen is just so cute and beautiful at the same time! This is where the double oven will be.

This is the opposite side of the baking kitchen. From this angle you can see the top shelves turn toward the kitchen window. There will be granite counter tops in the whole kitchen. My husband and I have said this is our dream kitchen. Living in the country it was so important to have a huge kitchen. There is no store down the road and guess what? With my kitchen who cares!!!!! With all this storage there is a pantry also. Our house that we sold we had a small kitchen and I hated that kitchen with a passion! I had out grown that kitchen and with this kitchen it is heaven! When we first saw the kitchens coming together it was a bit over whelming because we didn't expect it to be so grand. She is just so beautiful! Of course this kitchen is not done yet.

But I will leave you with this............I love sunsets! While driving back from checking the farmhouse I saw this beauty and had to get a picture. After seeing our beautiful kitchen that we have worked so hard for....to see this sunset was the cherry on top! Thanks Lord for that. Till next time and thanks for spending time with me. Be blessed and be safe!
