Florida Farmhouse updates and some cheap future decorating.

So! It's been storming everyday in Florida and the water is rising under the bridges. I am tired of all this rain but I know there are some places that would love our rain. I am trying to be grateful for the rain but the ground is saturated. On top of all this rain, my family and I have been under the weather. I can't hear from my right ear and I am still on antibiotics.

My mother in law has been cooking for my family. She has taken care of us and I mean cooking Mexican caldo (soup), sopa, spaghetti, and potatoes with ground meat, just to name a few. We were blessed to have her during our down time. My mother in law did not end up getting sick and I am so thankful for that. May God bless her for her taking the time to care for us.

I have started to buy some decorations for my home. One of the places I went to was the Dollar Tree. I got some decor for where I will store eggs and the coffee station. All these items was $1.25 each. We all know I am on a tight budget since we are building a home. I am not complaining but we got to loosen up the purse strings.....I think $1.25 for each item is not going to break the bank.

This cocoa decor is for the coffee station.

This card holder and prayer cards are for the coffee station. Who would of thought the Dollar Tree had this?! I absolutely love this! Wake up and get coffee and this is the first thing I want to see in the morning. I want to start my day out on the right foot! This is priceless.

I plan on having some hens on our farm. Well, of course, if you have hens your going to have eggs. Oh! I almost forgot! I plan on having ducks and so I will have duck eggs and hen eggs. With all those lovely eggs I will have a designated place for the eggs. I saw these signs and thought these will go perfectly!

                                Florida Farmhouse Updates!

Let's get on with the updates on the farmhouse. We have our pot filler installed! She is so beautiful and she is a bright brass color. This pot filler will be able to fill a pot or pan with water with out having to pick up a hot pan and move it to the sink to fill with water.

Speaking of sinks....here is the farm sink with the faucet. Our builder wanted all sink fixtures to be from Delta. Delta is one of the best for everything for homes. The sink fixture really blew me away because when we went to go look at the updates of the farmhouse and saw the kitchen faucet.....I didn't realize how big this faucet was.

Let's move on to the sink fixtures in the farmhouse........just beautiful! I love how the fixtures, marble tile, and granite came out together.

Starting Monday the builder will be installing the appliances! I am so excited for the appliances and to be able to share the pictures and updates for the next post.

I want to leave you all with pictures of tonight's moon, Cinnamon, and Wilbur.
The first pic is how the moon looked far away.

This is pictures of the moon with zoom.

Of course I was joined by Wilbur trying to get pics of the moon. He was right next to me oinking away.

Here is my Cinnamon saying good night.

Thanks for spending time with me! Be blessed! Be safe! Prayers for your family and loved ones that the Lord will take care of them. Till next time!
