Just thinking & the 2nd dream.....

Just been feeling lately like the word existing is what life has been. Have you been so completely drained and you take naps and sleep all night and still wake up exhausted? That's me! I need to start taking vitamins to see if that helps and if that does not work then I need to make an appointment with my doctor soon! How are people going like energizer bunnies at 40? I race against time to get stuff done before my exhaustion starts to set in and literally take over me and of course I succumb to it. I loath it, whatever it is! I work in a small city and sometimes I wonder if the city just sucks the life out of me because as soon as the clock strikes 5pm I am running, like Cinderella when the clock strikes twelve, to my car and I am racing to get back home....to the country. I stumble into the door of my farmhouse and can feel my body yell...we're back home in the peaceful country! Who knows but that could be it....the effects of country living! I hate leaving the country! I am sure it is the other way around for some people and thats ok!

Adding plastic eggs to my egg wreaths for my front doors. Wanted to dress them up a bit. I am a wife that does not believe in spending ridiculous amounts of money to decorate my home. Everything is from dollar tree.

Where ever feels like home is what matters! Home equals country living for me! Hearing the egg song being sung by my girls and the roosters yelling out and the bleating of my neighbors goat...is the meaning of peaceful living...at least that's my reality!

My rooster Jack. He is huge! The pics do not do him justice. He is such a gentleman and we love him so much.

Since we're on the subject about the chickens eggs song i have to say...I am part of a chicken group on Facebook. This chicken group is so helpful and informative where chickens are concerned. There are people there that have been tending to chickens for more than twenty plus years. If you have a chicken problem they have your answer. I personally have learned so much from this chicken group. Well! Here is the tea! A lady from the chicken group posted two weeks ago that her chickens had all together stopped laying eggs and was asking for some advice on how to get them laying again. After two weeks she posted again that she caught her neighbors red handed stealing her eggs! Everyone in the chicken group was mortified! This lady's neighbors were stealing eggs for the past two weeks! Here is another one for you! Another chicken tender came on the group yesterday saying her chickens were all stolen while they were having a big thunderstorm! She stated she had hens and baby chicks all stolen from her chicken coop! Can you believe that?

Growing marigolds for my chickens to eat.

Fingers crossed for the marigolds to grow.

Repotting my plants.

There are still eggs in the stores so people can not be desperate for eggs. It just shows people do not want to pay for for their eggs! Of course my husband and I do not have to worry about it. We managed to put up our camera to keep an eye on our roosters and girls. So! I have the luxury to check on my gentlemens and girls (roosters and hens) thru out the day! Ya I am a blessed girl. I was so shocked that people would go that far!

Feeding the chickens treats.

Now! Drum roll!!!! We have our first broody chicken! She is a buff orpington...a gold colored chicken! When a chicken goes broody she is ready to hatch some baby chicks. She will sit on her eggs until they hatch. We have our roosters and they will more than likely hatch. If you want baby chicks you need roosters! My husband and I were afraid the hen was not eating or drinking. When we go outside to check on her she will get up off her eggs to get a quick drink of water and some food and go back to egg sitting. It is so stinking cute! It is better for the hen to hatch her own baby chicks than buying chicks from the store and trying to add the chicks to the flock because the flock will peck the chicks to death verses the hen hatching the chicks and they are immediately accepted into the flock! I can not wait to see the baby chicks! My rooster, King David is super on gaurd since there is a broody hen.

I have to chime in about all the people getting laid off in Washington....it is so sad and devastating! Just because it does not affect me or you does not mean it is ok that it is happening to others. The Bible says to prefer one another. You know! I prefer you before me or I prefer you to achieve before me or I prefer you just because that's what God's word says. There are people who just do not care that people are loosing their jobs and it brings the Bible verse to mind that in the last days the love of many shall wax cold....meaning there is no empathy. It is so scary the cold heartedness that is being brought to the light and I believe it draws us closer to a society of lawlessness of how we have become uncaring! We simply do not care as long as whatever it is does not affect me or us!

Made these one year ago. Everything is from the dollar tree. I just do not want to spend lots of money to decorate. I am still filling the empty spaces in my home.

I did promise to share the dream I had from February 22 on my next blog....and since this is my next blog here it goes! I had a dream I was in a warehouse and the place was set up like a mall. There were people walking around this mall and they had a face of I have somewhere I need to be and walking with determination to get to where they were going. I was standing and watching these people walk by me and I realized I was behind this long gate made of bamboo. This bamboo gate separated me and the people walking. The gate went all the way up to the ceiling down to the floor. All along the gate there were doors. I turned around and I saw behind me were women from all around the world. They were getting up from laying down on bunk beds. I saw women that were asian, mexican, cuban, black, and caucasian. They were looking at me and I saw their face had a worried look and a look of concern. All of a sudden something in me wanted me to cry out loud and I could not hold it back. If I was to put my hand up to cover my mouth it would of done no good to stop the words that were wanting to come out or to be spoken! With no control over my mouth I began to yell out loud...LOCK YOUR DOORS.....LOCK YOUR DOORS! I walked up and down the bamboo gate and yelled lock your doors. Then there was an urgency in me and I began to yell with a higher pitch in my voice...LOCK YOUR DOORS! I began to have tears and was yelling lock your doors and I yelled till the very last second when I knew something terrible was about to come against the bamboo gate.

There was no sound, it was eerily quiet and all of the different women were on their feet and had made sure the doors were locked and were standing next to me and we were all waiting and watching the doors of the gate. It was quite. Then there was a high pitched yell and I saw a woman on the opposite side of the gate and she was wild, naked, and she was full of hate! She had long black hair and she ran and began to throw herself against the doors of the gate. She was checking to see if there was weaknessess in the gate or if someone forgot to lock the gate. We all had fear. The woman had the strength of ten men by herself and she threw herself up against the gate in front of me and that particular gate had not been locked and all the women next to me ran to hold the door shut. The wild woman was by herself and she was strong and she was prying the gate open and we all had to help each other hold the gate shut so she could not enter and I woke up!  I woke up with such fear and trembling!

I called my husband and told him about the dream and he instantly knew what the dream represented. When he told me the meaning I could see why I was so afraid and why I was crying in the dream. He reminded me of the statue of Liberty. She represents freedom for America and she is a woman. All the different  women in the dream represented all the different cultures and nationalities that make up America. All the somber faces the women had were because they could sense bad times are right on the horizon for America. The message I was urged to cry out to lock your doors were for all Americans to get ready and to brace ourselves.

The locking of the door biblical meaning is to keep out the external forces that will or will try to get in. The locked doors also means to be cautious and represents difficulties or mysterious attacks. The bamboo gate has a two part meaning....bamboo has strength and can be bent and not break and is known to overcome difficult challenges. The gate can represent boundaries and the need to protect one's selves.

You know when we think of America going down we always think of bad times that involves no food, killing, no medicine, Or maybe people going crazy. I or we never think of the spiritual part of America going down! I believe this dream was for everyone of every shape and color must get ready and lock the bamboo gate of our hearts to protect ourselves from falling into hatred toward other races and not caring or having no empathy, or closing our eyes to people in need, to hunker down and hang on  to God because we are about to see the spiritual become flesh! We will see the spiritual relm with our natural eyes. We will need to lock the gates or doors of our hearts against what is coimg! With what is coming is going to be hard to resist or stand against. We will need to be like bamboo and not be moved  and to stand against whatever goes against God's word...even if it means to go against the grain. Lock your doors! Lock your doors! Don't be moved by anything! I have had other dreams of America going down and I will share them slowly thru out this blog.

I pray for strength and to gaurd my or our hearts against what looks normal but goes against God's word. May we link arms spiritually together and lock the doors of our hearts and stand strong together!

Amen!
