Living in Florida.........animals...maybe working soon?

Well! Here I am getting ready for tomorrow.....Why? Ok...well...you know it started out as an idea. I had the wonderful idea of maybe applying for some jobs and see if I would get an interview and possibly land a job. I had one interview so far and nothing came of it....even though the one doing the interview said that the interview went very well. I did expect to get a call saying, "you got the job." That call never came for me. I decided just because we fail does not mean to give up. You know as a Christian I somehow always believed failure was so wrong. What do I mean by failure being wrong? Well, if I failed at something it was not of God and we should just give up altogether. In business, failure just means to reinvent yourself or try another way. If we never face rejection or failures then how do we expect to grow? Just because I am a Christian does not mean everything is going to work all perfectly! Sometimes we just have to try harder....don't give up...move forwa...

Florida Farmhouse updates and some cheap future decorating.

So! It's been storming everyday in Florida and the water is rising under the bridges. I am tired of all this rain but I know there are some places that would love our rain. I am trying to be grateful for the rain but the ground is saturated. On top of all this rain, my family and I have been under the weather. I can't hear from my right ear and I am still on antibiotics.  My mother in law has been cooking for my family. She has taken care of us and I mean cooking Mexican caldo (soup), sopa, spaghetti, and potatoes with ground meat, just to name a few. We were blessed to have her during our down time. My mother in law did not end up getting sick and I am so thankful for that. May God bless her for her taking the time to care for us.  I have started to buy some decorations for my home. One of the places I went to was the Dollar Tree. I got some decor for where I will store eggs and the coffee station. All these items was $1.25 each. We all know I am on a tight budget sinc...

So for the past two days I have come down with an ear ache! I am on antibiotics and Advil. It has been years since I have had an ear ache. Boy do ear aches hurt! Being a mom, we still have things to do! I can now say....an ear ache is almost as painful as a man cold! Maybe we shouldn't go there...... I have Cinnamon by my side to take care of me. I have always been a dog person. The wagging tails, floppy ears, showing of affection are my favorite characteristics of dogs. Dogs are so open hearted and lovable. Cats! These babies are a whole different breed! Since having little miss Cinnamon...she shows affection when she feels like it. If I want to love on her and she doesn't....don't you dare touch her. Honestly....Cinnamon sounds like a woman who has been married for eighteen years! Cats are so very introverted. I love Cinnamon and so does my hubby and daughter. Cats are just as awesome as dogs.  Here is one of our German shepherds. His name is Kylo and he is on...
